Challenge
This Murrells inlet homeowner wished to make their attic a more consistent and comfortable space. They came to Carolina Energy Conservation for an energy evaluation to find the best and most efficient solution to their problem.
Solution
For creating the desired environment, the best option was to install open-cell spray foam. This specific spray foam is ideal for our needs because it creates an effective thermal barrier, blocks air from infiltrating the attic through unseen cracks and gaps, and prevents moisture buildup as well as heat and cooling loss. The installation of the spray foam will help their attic space maintain a more constant and comfortable environment.
